SEC goes to Morocco (CANCELLED)

mei 22, 2020 - mei 29, 2020

HELE DAG

UPDATE: It is with great regret that we have to cancel the study trip to Morocco planned for the end of May due to the global crisis concerning coronavirus.
The study trip committee put a lot of work into the trip so it is a very sad thing to announce but it is out of our hands. We held on to all the little hope there was but we have to accept the reality of the situation. It is a time to prioritize people’s well-being and we will do everything possible to help bring things back to normal again.

We will get in contact with Transavia to figure out whether we might be able to move the trip later on in the summer, provided that the situation will be better by then. Let us know if you would still be interested to join the trip sometime in the summer

Stay safe and stay home!!

We are extremely excited to finally reveal the destination for the study trip 2020: MOROCCO!! It is not one but two cities: after spending one day in Casablanca, the biggest city of Morocco, we will travel to Marrakech, a former imperial city. The Study Trip committee has been working on a great programme to make this trip remarkable. From a desert tour, museum visits and day trips and of course experiencing the Moroccan cuisine and culture.
As sociologists, immersing ourselves in a completely different culture is one of the main things. For the first time ever, SEC is then heading to a non-European country for a unique experience!

The price of the trip will be around 320€ more or less (including flight, accommodation, transport and tours/activities). The exact pricing will be announced later on when registrations open. For now, just mark your calendars. All you need is a valid passport and wanderlust.

Registrations open around the middle of March when you will start receiving more and more information about the trip. So keep an eye out on this event and our social media!
