Hi!
I am Esther and this year I am the social coordinator of the 30th SEC-board! I am in my second year of sociology and I really like it. This year I follow half of the regular courses and I follow honours courses. Last year you could have seen me at the drinks and activities, this year I will also be founded in the study association room a lot. So come along for a cup of tea or a rice waffle with peanut butter :).
I have three committees under my care. I am chairman of the Party Committee and together we provide the best drinks and other festive activities. For example, we organize the December Dinner next Thursday instead of the drinks. This evening the dinner will have anniversary edge, because SEC is 30 years old! Also the department of sociology is invited. Sign up quickly, before it is too late! I am also the coordinator of the External Activities Committee and the Lustrum Committee.
December, the winter and its holidays are coming! It is a month that reminds me of lights in the dark, cold feet of snow and hot chocolate in front of the fireplace. And of course, all holidays included. Form the whole board we wish everyone happy holidays and a happy new year! Enjoy the vacation and until 2018!

Terms and conditions rewritten
Following the General Member Assembly from October 16 this year, we have decided to rewrite the Terms and Conditions: Articles 8.4 and 8.5 have been amended and Article 8.6 has been added. Without any reply, you automatically agree with these Terms and Conditions. You can find the Terms and Conditions here. If you have questions, feel free to stop by in our associastion office (REC-C0,06).

It is almost time for the exams. To help you with your studying, we’ll book study rooms for you on the busy Roeterseiland campus during the lecture-free week. More information about this will be posted soon on our Facebook.
Open stage (4/12)
Everything is possible during the first open stage of the year on December 4th. Dancing, singing, doing magic, playing an instrument, poetry or cabaret? Just to name a few ideas, because the possibilities are endless! Do you have hidden (or perhaps already known) talents and would you like to share this talent with your fellow students from sociology and students from the pedagogical sciences (you read that correctly, the open stage is in collaboration with Comenius)? Do not hesitate and sign up! Do you suffer from stage fear or do your talents also hide from you? Then come along as a spectator and get ready for a Monday night full of surprises! December dinner (7/12)
December is the month of conviviality, good food, being together, lights and holidays. This all comes together in the annual December dinner! At this December dinner you get a three-course menu for just 10 euros in the beautiful location Sporting West. This year’s December dinner is extra special, because it has a special lustrum vibe. This means that teachers have also been invited! Sign up and make this month even more pleasant by attending this dinner with your favorite sociologists.
