The Cultural activities committee is where we organise events that promote cultural exchange as well as understandings of our Dutch surroundings. We aim to bring out various activities that help sociology students learn about different cultures, and look at the past and history of the Dutch society from an engaging angle. This is done by group trips and sociological discussions. Typical activities include: a visit to the Amsterdam city archive; a day-trip to Haarlem; and specifically, the Cultural Fair. In the Cultural Fair that we plan to have in the second semester, students will be able to showcase their backgrounds and exchange cultures by having their own stands.
Main Goal
The main goal of this Commission is the exchange of culture among students, so that students can learn more about each other. Not only as a person, but also their cultural background. This allows students to form a deeper bond with each other and they also learn about different cultures in the world.
