Study Trip Committee

Coordinator:

The Study Trip committee consists of 5 people that work together to organise an amazing week outside of the Netherlands for Sociology students in May. We aim for the trip to be both insightful culturally and academically for students, as well as making sure it is affordable and there isn’t a dull moment.

Main Goal:
The committee works all year to
– Select an ideal location
– book tickets
– organise accommodation
– arrange approval and recommendation letters
– Writing motivation and cover letters
– Create an itinerary by each day
– Create a budget plan
– Apply for the Amsterdam University Fund (AUF) to help funding the trip
– Arranging details including transportation and managing last minute changes
– And finally, creating a reflection on the trip for better trips to be organised the next year
