Star Siripanich is the Treasurer of the 34th Board of SEC for the academic year 2021-2022.
The Treasurer is the money person. This means making our big budgets and doing the accounting magic for what goes in and out of our bank account.
The Treasurer also coordinates our committee treasurers and approves the event budgets that they make. This all may sound complicated but the Cash Audit Committee made up of past treasurers is there to help the Treasurer out if things are unclear!
The Treasurer also typically channels their inner Wolf of Wall Street Leo while co-coordinating our amazing acquisition team along with any other function or responsibilities they may take up as a part of the board; for instance, being the Trust Person or the Emergency Responder.
